Smoked Paprika Kale Crisps

Super easy to make, super easy to eat in one go.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch/ bag of Curly Kale
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 tbsp Smoked paprika

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to the lowest temperature it has, for me this was 70C
  • Wash the kale and cut off the thick, bitter stalks of the leaves. Break the leaves into smaller bits
  • In a large bowl: add the olive oil, smoked paprika and sea salt. Then add all the kale leaves and mix well with your hands, ensuring all the leaves are well coated
  • Spread the kale leaves over a baking tray and put in the oven for 40- 50 minutes, until the leaves are dehydrated and crispy
  • Eat as a snack or an accompaniment in a salad; kale is full of vitamins and fibre so is a great alternative snack. Experiment with seasoning too- you can try other herbs and spices such as cumin or chilli
